1. General Terms

• Green Taxi provides taxi services, including drop taxi, outstation taxi, customized tour packages, airport pickup and drop, and local hourly packages across Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Kerala, Bangalore, and Andhra Pradesh.
• By booking a ride with Green Taxi, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
• We reserve the right to update these terms at any time without prior notice.

2. Booking & Payment

• Customers can book a taxi through our website, phone, or partner platforms.
• Fares are calculated based on distance, time, vehicle type, and other applicable charges.
• A booking confirmation will be sent via SMS/email after payment or advance booking.
• Payments can be made through online transactions, UPI, or cash (subject to driver acceptance).

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

• Cancellations made before 24 hours of the trip will be eligible for a full refund.
• Cancellations made within 24 hours of the trip may incur cancellation charges.
• Refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days after the cancellation request is approved.

4. Passenger Responsibilities

• Passengers must provide accurate pickup and drop details at the time of booking.
• Customers are responsible for their personal belongings. Green Taxi is not liable for lost or stolen items.
• Any damage caused to the vehicle due to passenger negligence will be charged accordingly.

5. Driver & Vehicle Responsibility

• All drivers are verified professionals with valid licenses.
• In case of an emergency or vehicle breakdown, Green Taxi will arrange an alternative vehicle or refund the amount.
• Green Taxi is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.

6. Code of Conduct

• Passengers must respect drivers and follow local traffic laws.
• Smoking, drinking, and carrying illegal substances in the vehicle are strictly prohibited.
• Green Taxi reserves the right to refuse service to anyone violating these terms.

7. Liability & Disclaimer

• Green Taxi is a service provider and does not own all vehicles; we operate through a network of affiliated drivers.
• We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee availability at all times.
• Green Taxi is not liable for any direct, indirect, or incidental damages arising from service usage.

8. Privacy Policy

• We collect user information to enhance service quality and ensure smooth bookings.
• Personal data is kept confidential and not shared with third parties except for operational purposes.

9. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

• Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Madurai, Tamil Nadu.
• Green Taxi will attempt to resolve disputes amicably before seeking legal action.
